She felt a little nervous, but also very expectant.
With Lu Zhe, she was willing.
A slight sting spread, and Lu Zhe couldn’t tell whether it was the pain or her words that startled him. His dark eyes deepened as he refused immediately. “No.”
Even though the girl hadn’t spelled out what “do it” meant, he sensitively understood her meaning.
Su Ci lifted her gaze, her eyes filled with shimmering moisture. “Lu Zhe, I’m not feeling well.”
Lu Zhe rejected her with a serious tone. “Tuan Tuan, no.”
“Is it that you can’t?” Su Ci glared at him angrily.
Lu Zhe: …
Su Ci was being terribly naughty. She provoked him on purpose, her nearly boneless-soft body even shifting deliberately. “If you really can’t, I won’t blame you.”
Bright eyes, white teeth, color between her brows — Su Ci at this moment looked like a seductive little enchantress.
Hiss!
All the muscles in Lu Zhe’s body tensed.
He knew the girl was mischievous and bold, but he hadn’t expected her to become more daring each time.
Lu Zhe shut his eyes for a moment, then pulled the blanket beside him and covered the two of them with it.
Just as Su Ci was caught off guard, she heard the boy’s cold voice tinged with gritted-teeth frustration. “Tuan Tuan.”

Su Ci felt drenched in sweat. When she heard the doorbell ring, she didn’t want to get up at all. She was exhausted, and her lips hurt so much.
Lu Zhe lowered his head and kissed her forehead lightly. “It’s so late, who could it be?”
Su Ci didn’t want to care, but the bell kept ringing nonstop. She opened her eyes, her gaze still filled with watery brightness. “Could it be my brother?”
Thinking it might be her eldest brother, she lazily got out of Lu Zhe’s arms.
Her legs were a little weak. Wearing the hotel’s disposable slippers, she walked to the door and looked through the peephole.
Instantly, her legs felt even weaker.
It really was her big brother.
She turned back to look at Lu Zhe lying on his side on the bed — his black shirt had several buttons undone by her, his face was clean and handsome, and his lips were reddened from her bites, carrying a silent sensuality.
Su Ci suddenly felt like she had hidden a lover in a golden house and had been caught by family.
She rushed over quickly. “The person outside really is my big brother.”
Even with Su Ci’s thick skin, she absolutely couldn’t let her brother know that she had hidden Lu Zhe in her room after just one night.
Lu Zhe sat up. “Should I hide?”
“Mm, mm, mm.” Su Ci looked around, only the wardrobe was suitable.
“You hide in the wardrobe.” Su Ci tugged him.
Lu Zhe cooperated completely. He got off the bed and walked straight toward the wardrobe.
The wardrobe was a dark brown sliding-door style, divided into an upper and lower section, each about one meter tall.
Lu Zhe was tall and strong. He sat inside, leaning his back against one side of the wardrobe, his long legs bent.
Woo, her little poor thing looked even more pitiful like this.
Su Ci squatted down, stuck her head into the wardrobe, and gave Lu Zhe a kiss. “Be good. I’ll let you out soon.”
“Mm.”
Su Ci closed the wardrobe door carefully, heart aching for him.
Then she ran to the chair, grabbed a jacket to drape over herself, tousled her hair on purpose, and only then opened the room door.
“Gege, did you need something?” Su Ci’s face was full of drowsy confusion.
Su Zhiyuan had just finished meeting with a client. He had drunk a little, and his eyes carried a hint of drunkenness. He reached out and touched his sister’s head. “I wanted to check if you were asleep. Did I wake you?”
“I was just about to fall asleep.” After saying that, Su Ci deliberately yawned.
Su Zhiyuan said, “Gege’s room is right next door. If you need anything, come find me anytime.”
Su Ci nodded obediently. “I know.”
Just then, Su Zhiyuan pushed open his sister’s door with one hand and stepped inside.
“Gege?” Su Ci straightened instantly in alarm.
“I’m checking the room for you.” Su Zhiyuan looked around the room. The wide floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the whole city and were fully sealed.
He checked the ceiling, then walked into the bathroom to inspect the mirrors.
Even though this hotel was very secure, he still needed to make sure his sister was safe. Recently, several incidents had happened involving girls being harassed in hotels, even secret cameras installed in rooms. Since it concerned his sister, he had to be cautious.
Su Ci’s gaze accidentally fell on a pair of black shoes beside the bed. She sucked in a breath. Taking advantage of her brother being in the bathroom, she hurriedly kicked Lu Zhe’s shoes under the nightstand to hide them.
She had barely exhaled in relief when she turned around and saw her brother coming out of the bathroom and walking toward the wardrobe.
“Ge!” Su Ci’s eyes widened in fright.
“What is it?” Su Zhiyuan looked at his sister, his drunken gaze unfocused.
“This hotel is five-star and very safe. You don’t need to worry. I already checked it once this afternoon.” Su Ci yawned deliberately again. “Ge, I’m really sleepy now. I want to go to bed. You should go back and rest early too.”
Su Zhiyuan’s intoxicated eyes softened. “Tomorrow I need to visit the engineering site. After you eat breakfast at the hotel, don’t wander around. When I finish, I’ll try to come back and have lunch with you.”
Outwardly, he was a cold and powerful figure, but to his younger siblings, he truly was a gentle big brother.
Su Ci continued replying obediently, “Okay.”
Seeing how sleepy she looked, Su Zhiyuan reached out and rubbed her head. “Go sleep.”
He walked out.
“Gege, goodnight.” Su Ci waved and quickly shut the door.
Looking at the rapidly closed door, Su Zhiyuan shook his head with a smile. A bit of the weariness between his brows eased. He loosened his tie with one hand and walked into the room next door.
After her brother left, Su Ci finally let out a relieved breath.
She hurried to the wardrobe and pulled the door open.
The boy leaned against the side of the wardrobe, long legs bent. Under the warm hallway light filtering in, his cold, handsome face was illuminated.
When Su Ci met Lu Zhe’s dark, quiet gaze, she couldn’t take it at all.
She wore the hotel’s disposable white slippers. She slipped her foot inside and tapped Lu Zhe’s foot with her toes. “Lu Zhe, move your foot properly.”
Lu Zhe was just about to come out of the wardrobe. He looked at her in confusion.
The next second, the girl seemed to have found something she liked. Her eyes lit up brightly, not a trace of the sleepy act she’d put on for her brother.
She crouched down and climbed into the wardrobe as well, settling directly onto Lu Zhe’s lap. Smiling sweetly at him, she said, “We haven’t tried kissing in a wardrobe yet.”
Lu Zhe brought a hand to his forehead.
Just earlier under the blanket, her eyes were red, her voice trembling as she cried that her mouth hurt and now she had forgotten everything?
His fingertips, with their faint layer of thin calluses, brushed against the girl’s reddened lips. “It doesn’t hurt anymore?”
“A little.” Su Ci lowered herself, lying against his chest, acting spoiled despite taking advantage just moments ago. “Kiss me gently.”
Saying that, she reached out and closed the wardrobe door.
Mm, thrilling.

The next morning, Su Ci woke up in Lu Zhe’s arms. The strange feeling in her body had already disappeared.
She blinked, clearing away the sleepiness in her eyes, then called out to Fugui, “How did my brother die?”
Fugui knew its master was anxious about her family. Because of her brother’s cause of death, she had been worried for three months. It didn’t dare delay even a moment. In its childish voice, it replied:【Master, your brother was stabbed to death with a knife.】
Hearing this, Su Ci abruptly sat up in bed, her eyes turning icy cold.
“What’s wrong?” Feeling her suddenly leave his arms, Lu Zhe opened his eyes. He had been awake long ago but didn’t want to let go of the girl.
Su Ci turned back, the coldness in her eyes fading. “Lu Zhe, I think my brother will be in danger in the next few days.”
Lu Zhe sat up, his eyes calm and clear. “Did you have a nightmare?”
Su Ci shook her head, pressing her forehead against Lu Zhe’s chest. “No.”
Lu Zhe gently stroked her long hair. “How do you know your brother is in danger?”
Su Ci’s voice was muffled. “I can’t say. But I just know. Lu Zhe, I want to save my brother.”
“Alright.” Lu Zhe didn’t continue questioning her.
He remembered when they were on the mountaintop and Su Ci saved Li Chenyu.
That day, she hadn’t gone up the mountain to watch the sunrise, it was as if she were waiting for someone. She seemed to have already known that Li Chenyu would climb the mountain, and that someone would push Li Chenyu off.
Lu Zhe lowered his head and gently kissed the top of the girl’s hair.
His Tuan Tuan was hiding a secret she couldn’t speak of.
