Lu Zhe had just finished exercising, and his body was covered in sweat.
He stood behind the door, looking at Su Ci who was about to come in, and said coldly, “A folding bed can’t fit two people.”
Su Ci had never slept on a folding bed before, and the idea of squeezing together with Lu Zhe made her both curious and excited.
She slipped past the youth and into the room. Su Ci smiled and said, “It’s fine, I’m skinny. And I won’t mind squeezing next to you anyway.”
Lu Zhe was already familiar with the girl’s personality. Seeing her sitting on the edge of the folding bed, he pressed his lips together, grabbed his clothes, and went to take a shower.
The door closed. After Lu Zhe went out, Su Ci carefully looked around his room.
She had been in here a few times before, but never really observed it.
Su Ci thought of her eldest brother Su Zhiyuan’s room — it was at least a hundred times bigger than this small storage room of Lu Zhe’s. Every piece of décor and ornament was expensive; even the simplest setup carried a faint aura of wealth.
Even little Su Ning’s room — though he was just a toddler — was very large, and even his bed was nearly bigger than this entire room.
Looking at the shabby room, thinking of how the poor boy lived in this tiny storage room every day, Su Ci felt a sour ache in her heart.
Suddenly, Su Ci remembered that back when she was still a rabbit and followed Lu Zhe to Zhao Youyou’s home to pack his things, the room he had there also seemed to be a converted storage room, not much bigger than this.
Su Ci felt even more heartache. It seemed the poor boy had grown up in such environments all along.
She realized she had always been a delicately raised flower inside a greenhouse, while Lu Zhe was the complete opposite — the poor boy was a wild grass growing freely by the roadside.
And now, that wild grass had grown into a handsome school heartthrob.
Su Ci took off her shoes and lay down fully on Lu Zhe’s folding bed. She found that lying on this folding bed wasn’t comfortable at all.
She turned over a few times but still felt uncomfortable, as if she might fall off at any moment.
Lu Zhe had been sleeping here for so long — how did he endure it?
Su Ci regretted suggesting the folding bed a little, but thinking that she could lie together with Lu Zhe, she felt she could still endure it.
She didn’t know how long had passed before the door was opened again.
Lu Zhe came in after his shower, carrying with him a damp coolness. The droplets on his face hadn’t been wiped off; they trailed down along the side of his face and slipped into his collar, carrying a silent kind of sensuality.
Seeing the girl on the folding bed twisting and turning like a wriggling worm, Lu Zhe found it amusing. He knew she was delicate — she definitely wasn’t used to this kind of bed.
“Uncomfortable lying like that?” Lu Zhe looked down at the girl from above.
Su Ci stopped moving. She endured the sudden strange sensation flooding her body, sat up, and shifted a little to make room for Lu Zhe. She muttered, “No.”
“Hurry and lie down.” She urged him.
The feeling inside her body was so strange, making her desperately want to do something to vent this discomfort.
Lu Zhe looked at the tiny sliver of space and curled his lips. “I’ll go sleep on the sofa in the living room.”
How could Su Ci be willing to give up such a rare chance to share a bed? And on top of that, her body was feeling uncomfortable again — she only wanted to get close to Lu Zhe right now.
She got off the folding bed. “You lie down first.”
“Put your shoes on.” Lu Zhe looked at the girl’s bare feet stepping directly onto the floor, and he frowned instinctively. His room wasn’t like hers — the floor here was tiled, not carpeted. With her feet on the bare tiles, she could easily catch a chill.
Upon hearing that, Su Ci obediently put on her shoes, her face full of impatience. “Hurry and lie down.”
Lu Zhe gave her a long, deep look, then lay down on the folding bed.
The boy was tall and broad. Once he lay down, he practically occupied two-thirds of the folding bed. There was barely any space left for Su Ci to lie on.
In fact, Lu Zhe’s folding bed was already an enlarged version, one meter ninety in length and nearly eighty centimeters in width, but squeezing in two people was still very difficult.
Lu Zhe propped one hand behind his head. Lying there, his dark eyes carried a hint of amusement as he looked at the girl standing beside the bed. “You won’t fit.”
Su Ci realized — the boy had turned bad.
She let out a soft snort, kicked off her shoes in one motion, and her slender figure slipped straight into the boy’s arms, pressing tightly against him.
Lu Zhe instinctively caught the girl. Afraid she would fall, he even shifted his body further to the side, trying to make as much room as possible.
“Am I not lying down now?” Su Ci’s eyes lifted slightly, a small trace of pride flickering in them.
Lu Zhe: “Lying like this, aren’t you uncomfortable?”
“Uncomfortable.” Su Ci took advantage and still acted pitiful. “Lu Zhe, hold me tighter, I’m going to fall.”
Sure enough, sticking this close to Lu Zhe lessened the strange sensation in her body by a lot. It didn’t feel as unbearable anymore.
The first time, she thought it was because she had been running around all day, that she was too tired, so her body became weird. But now she was sure something was wrong with her body.
Su Ci called out to Fugui. “Why has my body been feeling so strange these past two days? And only when I stick to Lu Zhe does the discomfort lessen?”
Fugui became a little shy: 【Master, you’ve entered estrus.】
Su Ci froze in shock. “What?”
Fugui: 【Master, your bunny body is already three months old. Congratulations on growing up.】
Su Ci was completely dumbfounded — estrus?
Suddenly, Su Ci remembered the big rabbit she saw at the orphanage yesterday. She had seen how that rabbit went into estrus. And she had looked up information online about rabbits’ shameful periods.
Rabbits were filthy kings!
So now her body was acting strange because she also had an unspeakable rabbit period?
Thinking of that rabbit’s desperate, unsatisfied appearance, Su Ci nearly collapsed.
She asked Fugui: 【How long will this period last?】
Fugui: 【It appears once every three months and lasts three days, occurring once or twice a day.】
That meant Su Ci would have an estrus period every three months, and within the three days it appeared, she would experience this strange physical reaction two to three times.
Su Ci calculated: the day before yesterday and yesterday counted as one, today was the third day, and this was another episode. After this, the next estrus period would be three months later.
Pressing her lips together, Su Ci became worried. “Will this period cause any harm to my body?” She felt truly miserable.
Fugui knew this part, so it answered enthusiastically: 【It won’t cause any harm to Master’s body. In fact, it’s very good for Master.】
Hearing the words “very good,” Su Ci’s eyes lit up. “What good?”
Fugui: 【During this time, Master is most likely to conceive a baby.】
Su Ci: “Shut up and get lost!”
Fugui was so frightened it immediately shut its mouth, aggrieved. Weren’t humans supposed to love babies the most?
Fugui rolled away. It hadn’t even told its master yet that the estrus period would slowly bring changes.
Even with Su Ci’s thick skin, thinking of Fugui’s words made her face warm slightly. What nonsense about having a baby — she and Lu Zhe were still incredibly pure. They were only at the stage of holding hands and kissing lightly.
Now that she understood the reason behind her strange physical sensations, Su Ci finally realized why she kept wanting to stick to Lu Zhe, stay close to him — she was trying to vent her body’s desire.
Su Ci felt a bit embarrassed. After all, this was not something easy to talk about.
Feeling the big hand at her waist tighten, afraid she might really fall, Su Ci finally pulled back the messy thoughts in her head.
The strange sensations in her body surged again. Since she knew where the problem was coming from, Su Ci naturally intended to deal with it actively.
She lifted her upper body, soft and pliant as she leaned into Lu Zhe’s chest. Her eyes lifted at the corners as she spoke, “I’m going back to B City tomorrow. You and Uncle Fang will only come later. Shouldn’t you kiss me now?”
Lu Zhe calculated the time. It was true.
He raised his chin and gently kissed the girl’s lips, just a light touch before pulling away.
When he leaned in to kiss her a second time, Su Ci turned her face away. She deliberately complained, “It’s only been a little over a month since we separated, and your technique has gotten this bad?” They’d even exchanged saliva before, yet he was still brushing her lips like this to perfunctorily deal with her!
Su Ci was very dissatisfied.
Looking at the boy with his cold brows and features, she always wanted to do something to make him lose control, yet be helpless at the same time.
There was only a small lamp on in the room.
Su Ci’s eyes lifted at the corners, her gaze floating lazily toward Lu Zhe. “If you’ve got the ability, then don’t kiss me.” A boy like Lu Zhe, who had no lust at all, must either be incapable or was a monk in his past life.
As she said that, she lowered her head and deliberately brushed her lips against his thin ones. Her shell-white teeth opened and bit him lightly.
The girl was wicked and teasing, and she even stuck out her small tongue on purpose, tracing along his thin lips.
The hand hanging at his side clenched hard, blue veins popping along his well-trained forearm.
The next second, his lip line was pried open.
Lu Zhe’s eyes grew darker. He felt this girl really enjoyed courting death.
The hand originally resting on her waist moved to the back of her head, pressing her closer. His thin lips pressed down forcefully. Under the girl’s widened eyes, his gaze dimmed.
There was no air conditioner in this small room, only an oscillating standing fan. Even though the summer night occasionally carried a cool breeze, the temperature was still very high.
Su Ci had already been hot, and now with the warm breath of the boy falling on her face, she felt like she was about to sweat.
She pressed tightly against Lu Zhe, wanting to absorb the coolness of his body to make herself feel better. Her lips hurt a bit, but with this contact of lips and teeth, the strange sensation inside her body faded even more. She felt extremely comfortable.
Su Ci wanted more, greedily.
The girl kept shifting, rubbing against him. Lu Zhe’s dark eyes grew so black they seemed to drip ink. He pulled back slightly and leaned close to the girl’s ear, gritting his teeth a little. “Tuan Tuan, stop moving.”
Su Ci’s dark eyes shimmered with moisture, black and bright. Her voice came out soft, honest. “It feels good like this.”
Lu Zhe nearly ground his teeth to pieces. With his lips pressed to her ear, his cold voice sank low, “Don’t make yourself cry.”
She didn’t know how long had passed.
Lu Zhe lowered his head to look at the sleeping girl. His hand tightened as he pulled her closer into his arms, preventing her from slipping off the edge of the bed.
Outside, the night was deep. Moonlight fell onto the windowsill, making the late night seem even quieter.
Lu Zhe let out a sigh. With the way the girl kept inching closer, he no longer had any bottom line left.

The next day.
Little Tiancai woke up very early. Because he was in an unfamiliar place, the little boy didn’t feel safe at all.
After getting up, brushing his teeth, and washing his face, he obediently sat on the living room sofa to wait for Su Ci and for her to wake up.
Little Tiancai knew that today he would follow Sister Su Ci back to her home. He was both expectant and nervous, with a little fear mixed in.
Would Sister Ci’s family dislike him? Would his heart disease cause trouble for Sister Ci and her family?
