Su Ci got out of the car and walked toward the school.
This school’s environment was actually similar to the high school she had attended before—lots of greenery, well-maintained facilities.
Su Ci noticed the large number of gazes falling on her. She had always been beautiful, so she was long used to people staring.
Since she had no memories from before, and her older brother had already told her which class and seat were hers, Su Ci headed toward the classroom unhurriedly.
It wasn’t until she entered the classroom and saw every face staring at her in shock—wide-eyed, mouths agape—that Su Ci realized the truth: everyone must have really thought she had died.
“Su Ci!!!”
“Su Ci is back!”
“Holy crap, am I seeing a ghost?!”
“Su Ci isn’t dead!”
“Hiss—ouch, I’m not dreaming. Su Ci is really back.”
People around her burst into loud chatter. After all, Su Ci had been kidnapped and then fallen into the sea. Her body hadn’t been found for so long that everyone assumed she had died—maybe even been eaten by fish.
Now that she appeared out of nowhere, everyone was utterly terrified and stunned.
Although the classmates were shocked, no one dared approach or bother Su Ci.
She was the Su family’s young miss—beautiful, outstanding in grades, and with an aloof personality. She disdained interacting with her classmates. Everyone admired her from afar, not daring to get close, and unwilling to embarrass themselves.
Su Ci had just sat down when a tall figure came rushing in through the door.
He stared at Su Ci sitting in her seat, rushed over, and stood frozen in front of her, eyes instantly reddening.
Su Ci looked at him, confused.
“Cici, it’s really you!” He Ermeng, this little tyrant, looked at Su Ci with reddened eyes. “I knew you wouldn’t die. The person I saw on the street that day was really you.”
Everyone watched the school bully standing there with red eyes, looking utterly pitiful in front of Su Ci—like a little puppy who had waited forever for its master to return.
He Ermeng had always been the school tyrant—good family background, good looks, fierce in fights. No one dared provoke him. He feared nothing in the world, except Su Ci.
The entire school knew He Ermeng was famously obsessed with beauty. When he first saw Su Ci, he was stunned by her beauty and had chased after her for almost three years.
After Su Ci’s accident, someone privately said she was dead. He Ermeng overheard, beat the person up so badly they were sent to the hospital. But because of He Ermeng’s family background, the injured person didn’t dare utter a single complaint.
After that incident, no one in school dared discuss whether Su Ci was dead or alive.
“Do I know you?” Su Ci couldn’t stand being stared at by a pair of reddened eyes like that.
“You don’t know me?” He Ermeng looked like someone had punched him hard in the chest—it hit him right where it hurt.
Su Ci shook her head. “I’ve lost my memory.”
He Ermeng, along with everyone around them, was stunned.
Su Ci lost her memory?
This news had already spread through the school by the end of the morning. As the Su family’s young miss, the school beauty, the top student in her grade, and the school’s number-one idol, any little movement involving her would cause heated discussion on the forums.
Now Su Ci had returned safe and sound—and with amnesia—it sent the entire student body into a frenzy, threads popping up nonstop as everyone gossiped wildly.
“Cici, when did you come back? Why didn’t Brother Su tell me?” He Ermeng felt a wave of hurt. He hadn’t even been informed the moment Su Ci returned to the Su family.
“Did you lose your memory because of a head injury?”
“Did your head hit something when you fell into the sea? Does your head hurt?”
“Cici, I’m He Ermeng. Don’t forget me. Will you never remember me again?”
“No, this won’t do. I have to take you to the hospital.”
He Ermeng took over Su Ci’s deskmate’s seat, sitting right beside her, chattering nonstop.
Su Ci couldn’t bear it. “Be quiet.”
This tall, imposing boy immediately shrank at her words and shut his mouth. His eyes were wet as he looked at her, pitiful beyond belief. “Cici, I’m worried about you.”
When Su Ci had gone missing, He Ermeng had nearly gone crazy.
Now, seeing her sitting safely beside him felt like a dream. He urgently wanted to talk to her, to get her to respond to him.
Su Ci frowned. “Before, you and I…” She was a little worried the original Su Ci had some unusual relationship with this He Ermeng.
He Ermeng looked at her with eager anticipation.
“What kind of relationship did we have before?” Su Ci asked him.
“Couple!” He Ermeng grabbed Su Ci’s small hand resting on the desk, wrapping it tightly with both of his big hands.
Cici’s little hand was so soft—like cotton—holding it felt too good!
He stared at her, excited. “Cici, I’m your boyfriend.”
Su Ci rolled her eyes and forcefully pulled her hand back. “Impossible!”
He Ermeng looked utterly wronged. “How is it impossible? If you don’t believe me, ask the people around us whether I’m your boyfriend.”
He shot a cold glare at the classmates around them, as if anyone who dared deny it would be beaten to death on the spot.
Everyone immediately lowered their heads. The school tyrant was clearly taking advantage of Su Ci’s amnesia to become her boyfriend.
How shameless! But none of them dared say it!
“Cici, I really am your boyfriend. You used to like me sooo much.” He Ermeng lied without blinking.
Su Ci was even more certain now. She gave him a cold sideways glance. “You’re not handsome enough. There’s no way I’d like you.”
Her words were like a knife stabbing straight into He Ermeng’s chest. The surrounding students couldn’t help sneaking laughs.
“Cici, you forgot—I’m the school grass. I’m the most handsome in the whole school.” He Ermeng hurried to defend himself.
“Then the boys in this school must have pretty low standards.” Su Ci looked at him. “Are you number one in the grade?”
Her words were like a second knife, stabbing even deeper into his chest.
He Ermeng took a deep breath. Like a shy little daughter-in-law, he glanced at Su Ci awkwardly. “I’m number one in the grade.”
Su Ci stared at him in surprise.
He Ermeng straightened his back proudly and added, “Number one… from the bottom. Cici, you’re number one from the top. We’ve taken both number-one spots in the grade. Cici, we’re perfect together.”
Su Ci realized for the first time that her own thick skin was nothing compared to his.
“Hurry up and get lost, don’t get in my way!” Su Ci had already confirmed that she had no relationship whatsoever with He Ermeng. If anything, it was just him one-sidedly pursuing her!
Looks like the original host’s standards were just as high as hers.
Mm, the only one who met her standards now was Lu Zhe.
The annoying part? That man actually didn’t want to see her!
“Cici…” He Ermeng stared straight at Su Ci’s fair little face. He found that after not seeing her for a while, his Cici had become even prettier—no matter how he looked, he never got tired of her.
Su Ci snapped impatiently, “Get lost already.”
“Then I’ll come see you again after class. Do you want milk? Or some snacks? I can go buy them for you.” He Ermeng lingered, unwilling to go.
“No. Seeing you is enough to fill me up. Leave, now.” Su Ci found him truly impossible to shake off.
The little tyrant, He Ermeng, shyly peeked at her. “So I’m… something pleasing to the eyes for Cici.”
Su Ci: …
After school, Su Ci was once again entangled by He Ermeng.
“I’m going home. Are you planning to keep following me?” Su Ci lifted her chin and glared at him fiercely.
He Ermeng’s eyes lit up. “Cici, you’d let me get into the car?”
He looked at her with an expression so hopeful he practically had the words “devoted dog” written on his face.
Su Ci immediately shut the door. She lowered the car window and looked at him outside. “I don’t like you. Stop bothering me.”
Outside the car, He Ermeng nodded. “I know.” This wasn’t the first time she had rejected him.
“But anyway, other than me, no one is worthy of Cici. I’ll wait until Cici likes me.” His dark eyes were damp as he looked at her, the school tyrant turning into a little puppy again.
Su Ci rolled up the window, too lazy to deal with him further.
When she returned to the Su house, she played with little Su Ning for a while before heading back to her room.
She looked at her phone, silent the entire day, and angrily pulled out the bunny-ear headband she had already packed in her suitcase, tossing it aside.
Originally, she had planned to take advantage of the time before Father Su and Mother Su’s accident—especially since the May Day holiday was in two days—to go find Lu Zhe and wear the bunny ears for him. After all, she couldn’t very well make herself sick just to grow real bunny ears for him.
But Lu Zhe clearly wasn’t thinking about her at all. Now she had decided he didn’t get to touch the bunny ears anymore.

Tomorrow was the start of the May Day holiday. After school, everyone left the classroom early.
Li Dongliang saw Lu Zhe packing up his things to go home. He quickly slung on his pink backpack, picked up his little gray rabbit, and hurried after him.
“Brother Zhe, I’m going the same way as you today. Let me walk with you.” Li Dongliang walked at Lu Zhe’s side.
Lu Zhe walked forward. “Mm.”
“Brother Zhe, I haven’t seen you bring your little bunny for a long time. I’ll go to your house to visit it.” Li Dongliang used visiting the rabbit as an excuse, hoping his gray bunny could develop a relationship with the little white rabbit.
After all, since Lu Zhe hadn’t brought his bunny lately, his gray bunny had no chance to interact with the white one.
He was an open-minded “parent” who supported freedom in marriage. If the little white rabbit took a liking to his little gray rabbit, the two rabbits could freely fall in love—and then mate.
Lu Zhe shot him a faint look. “The rabbit isn’t here anymore.”
“What do you mean it isn’t here? Don’t tell me it…”
Li Dongliang stared at him in disbelief, panic flooding his face. “The bunny died?”
Lu Zhe glared at him coldly. “It’s not at my house.”
Li Dongliang let out a long breath. “You scared me to death.”
He hugged his gray rabbit. “It’s fine, I’ll just stop by your house for a bit. I’ve been your deskmate this long but never visited—how rude of me.”
He refused to believe Lu Zhe’s words. He could tell Lu Zhe really liked the little white bunny—how could he possibly bear to give it away? The rabbit had to still be at his house.
Li Dongliang was determined. He hugged his gray rabbit tightly; his little gray bunny was destined to be with the little white bunny.
Li Dongliang deliberately explained to Lu Zhe, “Brother Zhe, is your rabbit three months old yet? You know that small rabbits usually reach sexual maturity around three months, right? My gray rabbit is almost at three months. If the timing is right, you see, we could let them…”
Li Dongliang gave him a very ‘you know what I mean‘ look.
Lu Zhe’s dark eyes swept over him with icy disdain. He couldn’t even be bothered to respond.
Li Dongliang didn’t mind being given the cold shoulder at all. Shamelessly, he followed Lu Zhe the whole way, determined to go to his house.
They entered the old apartment complex.
Lu Zhe took out his key. He glanced at Li Dongliang, who was still hugging the gray rabbit. “Whether the rabbit is at my house or not, it’s impossible for it to have anything to do with your rabbit.”
He gave a cold look at the gray bunny in Li Dongliang’s arms.
“Brother Zhe, I just want to stop by your place for a bit.” Li Dongliang pretended not to notice he’d been exposed.
Lu Zhe withdrew his gaze and was just about to turn the key—
The next moment, the door opened from the inside.
“Lu Zhe, you’re back.”
The girl behind the door wore a white dress, bright-eyed and dazzlingly pretty—almost unreal. Most eye-catching of all were the pair of rabbit ears perched on her head.
Fuck! Fuck!! Fuck!!!
Li Dongliang nearly coughed up blood. So cute!!!
