Su Ci was still furious. She reached out both hands, hooked them around Lu Zhe’s shoulders, and pushed him back until his spine pressed against the door. Through clenched teeth, she said, “My brother booked a flight for tonight. I’m leaving in a bit.”
Lu Zhe froze.
Su Ci rose onto her tiptoes, lifted her chin, and pressed a kiss directly onto Lu Zhe’s cool thin lips. “So, you can overdraw now.”
Usually their kisses were brief and feather-light, but this time Su Ci was clearly not planning to be restrained.
She was angry.
She deliberately used her lips to rub against Lu Zhe’s thin lips, nuzzling and brushing in a clingy way. Then, wickedly, she stretched out her small tongue to trace the shape of his lips.
Lu Zhe cast a faint look at the girl in front of him, his brows tightly furrowed.
Su Ci intentionally took Lu Zhe’s lower lip into her mouth. Her pearly teeth parted slightly and she bit down.
In the next instant, she felt the body of the boy leaning against the door tense all over.
“Tuan Tuan.” Lu Zhe’s brows pinched together sharply.
Su Ci refused to let him go. She wickedly scraped his lips with her teeth, and even let out an impatient little hum.
Lu Zhe’s pitch-black eyes were bottomless.
The girl was biting straight into the tip of his heart— painful, itchy, unbearably tormenting, enough to drive him mad. When he felt the girl’s soft little tongue trying to slip inside, the veins on Lu Zhe’s forehead stood out. His large hand held her waist, and with a turn—
Lu Zhe and Su Ci completely switched positions.
Su Ci was pressed against the door.
The boy lowered his head, and his thin lips crashed heavily onto the girl’s red lips.
The last trace of sunset disappeared beyond the horizon, and the room fell into complete darkness.
Su Ci’s face felt burning hot, her head buzzing.
One of the boy’s big hands cupped the back of her head, pushing her toward him. Her chin was pinched by his fingers, forcing it upward. When his tongue first pushed in, it had been cool— but now, Su Ci felt only waves of heat filling her mouth.
Unable to take it, Su Ci pushed him lightly. That tiny movement seemed to provoke the boy instead, and she was kissed even harder.
The door was suddenly knocked on.
“Xiao Ci, are you two done talking? We still have to catch the plane.” Outside, Su Zhiyuan knocked again.
In the dimness, Su Ci felt the boy’s movements grow rougher. He sucked at her lips fiercely several times, making her lips ache.
“Nngh!”
Su Zhiyuan knocked again.
This time, Su Ci’s voice finally sounded from inside the room. “Wait a moment.”
Leaning against the door, Su Ci’s legs were weak. Her lips hurt terribly. She had no idea how long she had been kissed or how many times.
She pushed Lu Zhe away, didn’t look at him again, opened the door, and quickly walked out.
“Ge, let’s go.”
“Didn’t you say you needed to pack your things?” Su Zhiyuan asked his sister, who was walking ahead in a hurry.
“I realized there’s nothing I need to bring.” Su Ci lowered her head and walked quickly toward the outside.
The door closed, and the house fell silent.
In the room, Lu Zhe stood without moving. His breathing was slightly unsteady. In the faint light spilling in from the living room, the coldness faded completely from his pitch-black eyes— they were filled with the traces of desire.
All the way, Su Ci kept her head lowered. She knew her lips were definitely swollen.
She was furious.
When Lu Zhe was fierce, he had absolutely no concept of cherishing delicate things. Her mouth ached; her lips were probably almost kissed raw.
“Xiao Ci, don’t worry. That boy took you in and looked after you. Consider it a favor our Su family owes him. If he ever needs help, we will assist him.” Su Zhiyuan thought his sister, with her head lowered and sad expression, was reluctant to part with that boy.
There was something familiar about the boy’s brows and eyes. He felt like he had seen him somewhere before.
“Mm.” Su Ci responded softly.
When they arrived in City B, it was already past ten at night.
Along the way, Su Ci listened to Su Zhiyuan recall things from the past, and her heart was inevitably a little moved.
She could tell— the Su family was different from those cold, emotionless elite households. This was a loving family.
The parents loved each other; the siblings were harmonious.
Her heart softened unconsciously.
The Su family residence was located in the city center, and the villa covered a wide area.
Ever since Su Zhiyuan showed up that day, Su Ci had checked information about the Su family online. One of the top-tier wealthy clans, a leading force in the real estate world.
And the only family strong enough to rival the Su family was the Lu family. The two families were enemies.
The car drove through the Su family gates. The villa was brightly lit, clearly indicating that no one had gone to sleep yet.
Su Ci followed Su Zhiyuan out of the car.
“Xiao Ci, do you remember anything about the surroundings of our home?” Su Zhiyuan asked.
Su Ci shook her head. She lacked the original owner’s memories.
“It’s fine. We can slowly recover them.” Su Zhiyuan led her toward the villa.
Before they even reached the door, they saw a group of people standing there. At the front was a couple— clearly Father Su and Mother Su.
Mother Su’s expression trembled; she covered her mouth, tears welling up the moment she saw Su Ci, and she began crying loudly.
Father Su held his wife, the high-ranking patriarch of a wealthy family still undeniably handsome. Yet he could not hide his emotions— his eyes shone with tears too. His daughter’s return had shaken him deeply.
Mother Su pushed her husband aside. She hurried forward and hugged her daughter. Driven mad with longing, tears streamed down her face. “Cici, you finally came home.”
Held in her arms, Su Ci could feel the intense love Mother Su had for her daughter. Her heart tightened sharply.
She instinctively returned the hug. “Mom, I’m home.”
Sitting in the living room, facing the Su family members and everything around her, Su Ci didn’t feel any sense of unfamiliarity.
“Cici, you’ve lost weight.” Mother Su sat beside her, holding Su Ci’s hand. Her face was full of heartache and affection. Hearing her eldest son say that her daughter had amnesia only made her feel even more distressed.
Just how much suffering had her daughter endured?
“Not thinner. I weighed myself yesterday, I gained half a jin.”
Mainly because Lu Zhe’s cooking was too good and suited her taste perfectly. She often couldn’t control her mouth.
For a great beauty like her, even gaining half a jin was a heinous crime!
The sadness in Mother Su’s eyes faded instantly, replaced by amusement at her daughter’s words. She touched Su Ci’s head. “Really? You’ve been on the plane so long. Are you hungry? Tired? I’ll have someone prepare food for you. Your room has been cleaned regularly, you can rest well later.”
Su Ci shook her head. She had eaten airplane food and wasn’t hungry.
“Since Xiao Ci is home, I’ll choose a date to hold a banquet so everyone knows the Su family’s daughter has returned.”
Father Su was famous for doting on his wife and daughter. Now that the Su family’s pearl had returned, of course he needed to celebrate, announce it widely, and shut the mouths of all those petty people.
Su Ci didn’t really care about the banquet. She nodded.
“Jiejie.”
At that moment, a tiny chubby figure appeared by the doorway— fair and soft, being led inside.
Su Ci looked over and knew he must be her younger brother, Su Ning.
“Jiejie came back.”
Su Ning was a little over three years old. The Su family’s genes were excellent; even as a toddler, his features were already well-shaped and pretty.
He had been sent to his maternal grandparents’ place recently. When Mother Su learned the daughter had been found, she was furious at her husband and son for hiding it from her. In a hurry, she had people bring her little son back as well.
Su Ning walked up to Su Ci. He looked at his sister shyly. “Ningning missed Jiejie.”
Su Ci rubbed his head.
The next second, little Su Ning fished out a small pudding from his pocket and handed it to Su Ci. “Pudding for Jiejie.”
Little Su Ning loved pudding the most. He was sharing his favorite treat with his sister.
Su Ci’s red lips curved as she prepared to accept this meeting gift. But when her eyes fell on her brother’s wrist, she froze.
“Fugui, how did my brother die?”
Su Ning’s life bar was a red line— only seven days.
Fugui hurried out:【Master, Fugui can only see deaths within three days. Seven days is too long. Fugui can’t see that far.】
Su Ci frowned. Only now did she realize— everyone she had encountered before who was dying had all been within three days.
Fugui:【Master, as long as Fugui eats more golden cotton candy, I can see further into the future.】
Golden cotton candy was a good thing— it helped it level up.
Su Ci didn’t respond. She looked at the soft, fair, slightly shy little brother in front of her, who was peeking at her timidly. She accepted the pudding.
“Thank you.” Su Ci smiled at him.
Little Su Ning blushed and hid his chubby body behind Mother Su.
Su Ci shifted her gaze to the other family members. She looked at Mother Su’s wrist— a red line marked with one month.
Su Ci’s pupils froze. She looked at Father Su— also one month.
“Dad, I’ve already told them to withdraw all the men.”
Su Zhiyuan had just finished a call and walked in. His suit jacket was gone and his sleeves were rolled up.
Only now did Su Ci notice— this older brother’s life bar was also only three months.
Her brows furrowed tightly.
Including the original owner…
Was the entire Su family short-lived?
Suppressing all the tangled thoughts in her heart, Su Ci was led to her room by Mother Su.
The room was spacious. The interior was decorated in off-white tones— elegant and warm.
A layer of soft white wool carpet covered the floor. Outside the wide floor-to-ceiling windows was a large balcony. Through the sheer white curtains, she could see many flowers and plants growing outside.
Everything here perfectly suited her taste.
“Cici, rest early. Mommy will chat with you properly tomorrow.”
Mother Su’s eyes were full of reluctance, afraid that if she turned around, her daughter might disappear again.
Su Ci stepped forward and hugged her. “Goodnight, Mom.”
Feeling her daughter’s warmth, Mother Su’s heart finally settled. “Alright, goodnight.”
The door closed.
Su Ci took out her phone. She saw there were no messages, no calls.
She bit her teeth in anger.
Lu Zhe had no heart!
