Hearing Su Ci’s words, Little Kuaile’s eyes grew even brighter. He had never been to an amusement park.
Little Kuaile nodded his small head vigorously. “Sister Ci, I’ll learn to walk really fast.” Then he asked, “If Kuaile can walk tomorrow, can we go to the amusement park the day after?”
“Ask Brother Lu Zhe. I’ve never been to an amusement park either. We need Brother Lu Zhe to take us.” Su Ci threw the ball to Lu Zhe.
“Brother Lu Zhe, can we?” Little Kuaile looked at him with big, hopeful eyes.
Beside him, Su Ci imitated Little Kuaile’s soft childish tone, also looking at Lu Zhe with bright eyes. “Brother Lu Zhe, can we?”
Facing two pairs of black, sparkling eyes — one big, one small — Lu Zhe coughed uncomfortably. “Mm.”
With Lu Zhe watching the shop, Boss Fang pushed Little Kuaile’s wheelchair out to browse the night market.
Su Ci pulled over a small stool to sit behind the cashier, prepared to seriously assist Lu Zhe with the shop.
At that moment, two boys walked into the computer shop planning to choose components for a computer. When their eyes unintentionally landed on the girl sitting behind the counter, both of them froze at once, unable to hide the amazement in their eyes.
Lu Zhe walked up to them. His stiff, cold face held a faint expression as he blocked their line of sight. “What do you want to buy?”
“A-anything…” One of the boys still hadn’t recovered.
His friend with glasses nudged him with an elbow.
“A computer. I want to build a custom one. Please help me pick the best configuration.” The boy’s face was red, and he kept sneaking glances toward the counter. “The best specs.”
Lu Zhe’s pitch-black eyes carried a trace of coldness. “Mm.”
Less than a minute later, he handed the boy the most expensive, top-tier configuration. “This set has everything.”
The boy looked at the bill and quietly sucked in a breath. But noticing the girl at the cashier looking his way, he stiffened his scalp and paid anyway.
When Su Ci saw Lu Zhe receive the payment, she imitated the shop staff and smiled sweetly at the boy. “Thank you. Please come again.”
The boy was instantly energized, like he’d been injected with chicken blood. The pain of spending so much money vanished in a second. Spending this much just for a single sweet smile from the girl in front of him—worth it.
After dragging their feet for quite a while, the two boys finally left with the expensive custom computer.
“Lu Zhe, when you sell a computer, do you get commission?” Su Ci asked.
“Mm.” Lu Zhe’s expression was calm, but thinking about how she had smiled so brightly at someone else just moments ago, he said coldly, “Next time, you don’t need to come to the shop. There are a lot of people coming and going here. It’s messy.”
Su Ci shook her head. She leaned toward him like a boneless little fox spirit, bringing her lips close to his ear. In a soft voice, she asked bluntly, “Lu Zhe, that boy kept staring at me just now. Were you jealous?”
Lu Zhe’s gaze deepened, his thin lips pressed tight.
Su Ci looked at the tiny mole on his ear. Mischief flickered in her eyes. Her lips nearly brushed that little mole as she whispered, “Don’t worry. You’re much better-looking than him. I only look at you.”
Lu Zhe wanted to ask—if someone better-looking appeared, would she look at them instead?
That thought had just surfaced when, in the next second, the girl’s lips lightly brushed against his ear.
A strange and numbing shiver shot up his spine.
Lu Zhe couldn’t hold back a muffled sound, quickly turning his head away.
Beside him, Su Ci smiled like a little enchantress. “Lu Zhe, the little mole on your ear is so cute.”
Even cuter than her own teardrop mole. She wanted to bite it but couldn’t bear to.
By the time they returned to the old neighborhood, it was already past nine. The night was dense and quiet, with only occasional laughter from children nearby.
Su Ci held the honey-glazed skewers Lu Zhe bought for her, eating with full satisfaction. It was her first time discovering how delicious night market snacks were.
She ate while walking beside Lu Zhe up the stairs.
Su Ci stretched out her hand toward him. “Lu Zhe, my hand got honey on it. Help me wipe it.”
The corridor lights were dim. The girl’s hand was slender and fair like jade, with a faint touch of pink at her fingertips, and indeed there was honey smeared there.
Lu Zhe took out a tissue and gently wiped her hand clean.
Su Ci took a bite of meat. Watching the boy lower his eyes and carefully wipe her fingers, her heart softened. She held the skewer up to his lips and asked, “Do you want a bite?”
Just as she finished speaking, a rich male voice suddenly sounded from the other end of the corridor. “Cici.”
Su Ci froze. She and Lu Zhe turned their heads at the same time.
From the dim end of the hallway, a tall, handsome man stepped out. His deep eyes carried excitement. “Cici, come here.”
Lu Zhe’s hand holding Su Ci’s fingertips tightened.

In the small, cramped living room, the atmosphere was a little tense.
Su Ci sat beside Lu Zhe, looking at the unfamiliar man across from them. “You’re my brother?” When did she have a biological brother?
Before she came into this world, she had been the Su family’s only daughter, their pampered young miss. After falling into the book, she had become a rabbit.
Unless… the other party was also a rabbit?
Su Zhiyuan had imagined countless scenarios of finding his little sister. The only thing he hadn’t expected was that she wouldn’t recognize him.
“My name is Su Zhiyuan. You’re Su Ci. I’m your older brother.” Su Zhiyuan looked at Su Ci with a grave expression. “You don’t remember? What about Mom? Dad? Do you remember them?”
Su Ci stared at him blankly. Her parents—of course she remembered. But his parents? She didn’t know them. “Did you mistake me for someone else? I don’t know you.”
Su Zhiyuan raised a brow. “Who else could possibly look exactly like you?”
He and his sister Su Ci had both inherited their parents’ good genes. The Su family’s looks were famous in City B.
Su Ci nodded. She also felt it was impossible for someone else to look like her. She was a one-of-a-kind peerless beauty!
“But it’s also possible you’re trying to scam me by pretending. Maybe you took a liking to my beauty and want to trick me into going with you.” Su Ci really didn’t know him.
Su Zhiyuan stared at his sister speechlessly. Amnesia, yet her narcissism remained entirely intact.
He took out a photo and handed it to her. “This is Dad, Mom, me, and you — our family portrait. If you think the photo is photoshopped, I can arrange for you and our parents to take a paternity test.”
Su Ci pressed her lips together. The girl in the photo was indeed her. His tone was firm, and nothing about it felt like a lie.
Su Ci felt a bit dazed and overwhelmed. Facing a brother who suddenly appeared, she had to admit — she felt an indescribable sense of familiarity. And from his features, she could see a bit of resemblance between them.
“Then we’ll wait for the paternity test.” She also wanted to know what was going on.
“Alright.” Su Zhiyuan glanced at the boy beside her, his gaze darkening. “I’ll have someone bring our dad’s hair. The day after tomorrow, we’ll go get the test done.”
He hadn’t expected his sister to have lost her memory. No wonder she didn’t die, yet had never returned to the Su family.
Now that she saw him as a stranger, he could only wait for the test results before taking her home.
Su Zhiyuan left with his men. He sent someone to rush back to City B overnight to retrieve their father’s hair, while temporarily keeping things from their mother.
The living room returned to silence.
Su Ci blinked and asked Lu Zhe, “Lu Zhe, if Su Zhiyuan really is my brother, what do you think I should do?”
The boy had been quietly sitting beside her. Only when he heard her question did he speak. “If you really are his sister, the Su family’s daughter, then you should return to your family.”
Lu Zhe’s stiff and cold face held a faint, unreadable expression.
Su Ci reached out and tugged on the hem of his shirt. “The Su family is in City B. If I go back… won’t you miss me?” And given her current condition, how could she leave Lu Zhe?
Lu Zhe frowned. “This place isn’t suitable for you.”
She would eventually leave. If she could find her family, it would be a good thing.
Su Ci’s fingers tightened around his shirt, her pale pink fingertips whitening. She stared at Lu Zhe in disbelief.
She turned angrily toward Fugui. “Is Lu Zhe trying to kick me out?”
Fugui, who had received a tiny bit of golden cotton candy from its master earlier today, replied:【Master, it seems Lu Zhe doesn’t like you staying here. Don’t give him any more golden cotton candy.】
Su Ci glared fiercely at Lu Zhe with her watery eyes. “If I leave you, who will help me maintain my human form?”
Lu Zhe lifted his gaze to look at her. “Before you leave, I can kiss you many times at once. It’ll let you maintain your human form for a very long time.”
Su Ci was truly angry now. Normally, when she begged him for one more kiss, Lu Zhe would push her away. Yet now, just to make her leave, he was actually willing to overdraw himself?
She let out a cold snort, stood up, and directly sat down on Lu Zhe’s lap. Under his startled gaze, she lifted her chin slightly, like a proud little enchantress. “Kiss.”
Didn’t he want to overdraw?
Let him kiss until his lips swelled!
